Medal was instituted on 13 December 2019.
Medal is awarded to military personnel and law enforcement officers for personal courage demonstrated in defending the state, in ensuring law and order, in carrying out particularly important and complex assignments, as well as for special merits in the performance of their official duties in conditions involving a risk to life.
