Medal was instituted on 9 June 2021.
Medal is awarded to citizens and organizations for their achievements in: strengthening the independence, stability, and prosperity of the state as a guarantee of the economic, political, and spiritual development of Kazakhstani society in all spheres of public relations; Ensuring peace, social consolidation, and national unity in Kazakhstan; developing the state language and national culture as a factor in uniting the people of Kazakhstan; economic, social, civic, and scientific development of Kazakhstan, and fostering the social responsibility of businesses; developing intercultural dialogue, civil peace, and harmony; Educating the younger generation based on the idea of statehood, Kazakhstani patriotism, the continuity of generations, and high spiritual and moral values; preserving and developing the cultural diversity of Kazakhstan's ethnic groups as an important asset and foundation for intercultural dialogue; strengthening ties with the Kazakh diaspora living abroad and the historical homeland of Kazakhstan's ethnic groups; strengthening cooperation between peoples, bringing together and enriching national cultures and friendly relations between states, and strengthening Kazakhstan's authority in the global community.
