Medal was instituted in 2022.
Medal was awarded to military personnel who have been positively characterized in their service and who have performed their military duty in an exemplary manner and who were in military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 7 May 2022, and to other persons who have made a significant contribution to the development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
