ESP028 Real Orden del Mérito Deportivo

Order was instituted on 18 June 1982.
Order is awarded for distinguished service in sports, in teaching physical education, or the management, organisation, promotion and development of physical education and sports.
Order is awarded to individuals in four classes: Grand Cross, Gold Medal, Silver Medal, and Bronze Medal. The classes: Gold Plaque, Silver Plaque, and Bronze Plaque are awarded to collectives.
