Sri Lanka Air Force 50th Anniversary Medal

- Medal was instituted in 2001.
- Medal is awarded to all officers and other ranks of the Regular Force and Regular Reserve of the Sri Lanka Air Force who possess a minimum of five years of service from the date of commission or enlistment; to all officers and other ranks of the Volunteer Force of the Sri Lanka Air Force who possess a minimum of five years of reckonable active service from the date of commission or enlistment. Permanent or casual civilian employees of the Sri Lanka Air Force who possess a minimum of five years of reckonable service. Provided that all those to whom the Medal is awarded shall be in service at any time during the period from 03rd March, 2000 to 02nd March 2001 being the year of the 50th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
