Order of Vytautas the Great

- Order instituted on 1 September 1930 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Vytautas the Great. Order was reinstated on 12 September 1991 after the restoration of independence.
- Order awarded for distinguished services to the State of Lithuania.
- Order awarded in five classes: Grand Cross, Commander's Grand Cross, Commander's Cross, Officer's Cross and Knight's Cross. The special class "Order of Vytautas the Great with the Golden Chain" may be conferred on the heads of Lithuania and foreign states.
