Distinction of the 28th of September

Distinction was instituted by Decree-Law No.30 of 10 December 1979.
Distinction is awarded to Cuban nationals for contribution to the development and strengthening of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution.
Committees for the Defense of the Revolution - are a network of neighborhood committees across Cuba.
