World War II Veterans Medal

- Medal was instituted by Presidential Decree number 2754 of 19 August 1948.
- Medal was awarded to Cubans who took an active part, with weapons, in World War II, serving in the Armies or Armed Forces of the Navy, Land, and Air of the Allied Nations.
