Medal was instituted on 15 May 2019.
Medal is awarded to any member of the Tonga Police: who is employed on or after 1 January 2015, as a police officer of the Tonga Police; who has completed his qualifying service; and whose character and conduct is, in the opinion of the Commissioner of Police, of such good standard as to warrant the award of the medal.
