Medal awarded to the men of the allied army and navy who displayed acts of bravery in the Paraguayan war of 1865-1870.
Medal may have clasps on the ribbon with the year or the battle when the act of bravery was displayed.
Paraguayan War - was a South American war fought from 1864 to 1870.
