Conspicuous Gallantry Medal

- Medal was instituted in 1962 with changing in 1996.
- Medal is awarded to any person who has performed within Singapore an act of conspicuous gallantry and courage in circumstances of extreme personal danger. In special circumstances, the Medal may be awarded to any person who has performed outside Singapore an act of conspicuous gallantry and courage in circumstances of extreme personal danger.
