Order is awarded to diplomats who distinguished themselves in the field of Pan Americanism.
Order is awarded in six classes: Collar, Grand Cross, Gran Officer, Commander, Officer, and Knight.
Alexandre Pétion - was the first President of the Republic of Haiti.
Simón Bolívar - was a Venezuelan military and political leader.
