Commemorative Medal for the Silver Wedding Anniversary of Duke Alfred

Medal was instituted by Duke Alfred of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha on 23 January 1899 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his marriage to Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna, the only daughter of the Russian Emperor Alexander II and Empress Maria Alexandrovna.
Medal was awarded to the guests of the ceremony, as well as officials of the duchy.
