Order of the Fatherland

Order was instituted on 13 April 1995.
Order is awarded for excellent results in the manufacturing, scientific, social and cultural, charity and other activities aimed at promoting wellbeing of people and strengthening the power of the state; gallantry and bravery displayed while protecting the Fatherland and its state interests, enforcing the law and public order; significant contribution to the development of economic, scientific and cultural ties between the Republic of Belarus and other countries.
Order is awarded in three classes.
