Medal awarded to nationals of the Republic of Slovenia for personal valour and self-sacrifice in saving human lives and material goods.
Medal awarded in three categories: Medal of Courage in the civil field (trefoil with enamel in the center); Medal of Courage in the diplomatic and international field (trefoil without enamel in the center); Medal of Courage in the military or security field (trefoil with the faceted garnet in the center).
