Order of Independence

- Order was instituted by Law No.5 of 1975 and complement by Law No.5 of 30 May 1978.
- Order is awarded in two classes: Collar of Independence - awarded to Heads of State, and Sash of Independence - awarded to Prime Ministers and equivalent rank.
