Order of Faithful Service

• Order was instituted by Law No.12 of 09 June 1992.
• Order is awarded to members of the Armed Forces who meet the following conditions: (a) Their actual service in the armed forces must be at least twenty years. (b) They must not have had a final judgment issued against them for a crime or military offense. (c) They must not have received negative reports during the last ten years. (d) Their annual reports in the last five years must not include at least two grades of excellent and one grade of good.
• Order awarded in four classes: First class (rank of Brigadier-General and above); Second class (ranks of Colonel and Lieutenant-Colonel); Third Degree (ranks from Officer to Major); Fourth Degree (other ranks).
• There are three types of badge suspension.
