Defence force Medal of Honour for Efficient Service

Medal instituted on 16 October 1970.
Medal awarded to officers and soldiers who have completed 12 years voluntary service in the First Class of the Jamaica National Reserve and performed such service efficiently.
Medal have II classes: silver gilt for commissioned officers and silver for other ranks.
A bar may be added for each further period of six years continuous service as aforesaid, and a rose on ribbon shall denote a bar.
