Southern Naval Force Medal

Medal was instituted by Decree No. 35.586 of 2 June 1954.
Medal was awarded to military personnel of the Brazilian Southern Naval Force and Southern Patrol Group, who effectively served during the Second World War.
Medal was awarded in three classes: gold (to officers who commanded the Southern Naval Force), silver (to officers of the General Staff and Commanders of the ships) and bronze (for officers, who effectively provided war service embedded in their ships, as members of their crews).
