Malvinas War Combatants Medal

ARG010 La Medalla del Honorable Congreso de la Nación a los Combatientes

Medal instituted by decree 23.118 on 30 September 1984.
Medal awarded to military personnel, who fought in the war for the territorial claim of the Malvinas, Georgias and South Sandwich Islands, in the war actions from 2 April to 14 June 1982.
Re-issues of the medal were made in 1990,1991,1992 and 1993 to award veterans of units not originally included in the award list, such as Police and Coast Guard.
Falklands War - was a 10-week undeclared war between Argentina and the United Kingdom.
