CUB033 Medalla Ciro Redondo

Medal was instituted by Decree-Law No.30 of 10 December 1979.
Medal is awarded to the soldiers of the Rebel Army who fought in Column No. 8 "Ciro Redondo" under the command of Commander Ernesto Che Guevara, who carried out the 1958 invasion of "Las Mercedes" in the Sierra Maestra into the territory of the former province of Las Villas, and who have preserved an exemplary and exemplary position in relation to revolutionary principles.
Ciro Redondo - was a Cuban revolutionary.
