Medal of Long Service and Good Example

Medal instituted in 1969.
Medal awarded members of the armed forces who serve a minimum of twenty years.
Medal have II classes, the first class is awarded to commissioned officers and the second class to others ranks.
There are two types of the medal: the Libyan Arab Republic from 1969 to 1979 and the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya from 1979 to 2011.
The medal have similar design with Egyptian medal.
