Military Merit Medal (1818)

Medal instituted on 30 May 1794 by Duke Ludwig-Eugene.
Medal awarded to the citizens of the kingdom for military merits.
From 1818 to 1864, the medal was awarded with the profile of King William I.
Medal have two classes: gold and silver.
There are two types of medal: medalist Johann Ludwig Wagner (medal was awarder from 1818 to 1840) and medalist Carl Friedrich Voigt (medal was awarded from 1840 to 1864).
