Efficient Service Decoration

Decoration Karyakshama Seva Vibhushanaya was instituted in 1981.
Decoration is awarded to Senior Officers of the Regular Force of the Army, Navy and Air Force of the Republic of Sri Lanka for exceptional, distinguished and loyal service provided they count not less than twenty-five years of service and possess an unblemished record of moral and military conduct.
The recipient of the decoration will be entitled to use the symbol ‘VSV’ after his/her name.
