MDA002 Ordinul Stefan cel Mare

Order instituted by Law nr.1123-XII of 30 July 1992 as the highest military award.
Order awarded for a heroic deed and skillful leadership of hostilities; for special courage shown in ensuring public law and order, protecting human rights and freedoms; for the courage and dedication shown in ensuring the security of the state, performing special tasks; for other especially important merits in the protection of freedom and independence of the Republic of Moldova.
Stephen the Great - was Voivode of Moldavia.
