Medal of Honour for Labour


Médaille d'Honneur pour le Travail

  • Medal instituted on 26 February 1960.
  • Medal awarded by the Ministry of Labor and Social Laws and rewards workers for continuous periods of service with the same employer.
  • Medal have two classes: silver (15 years of service) and bronze (10 years of service).
  • Medal have three types, depending on the changes in the name of the state: REPOBLIKA MALAGASY (1960-1975), REPOBLIKA DEMOKRATIKA MALAGASY (1975-1992) and REPOBLIKAN’I MADAGASIKARA (from 1993).
