Decoration was instituted on 3 January 2015.
Decoration is awarded to the relatives of the personnel of the Police Force who have died in the fulfillment of their obligations, sacrificing their lives in acts that enhance the name of the Police, demonstrating a true love for the Police Institution and the Homeland.
Francisco Morazán - was the head of state of Honduras.
