• Medal was instituted in 2019.
• Medal is awarded to members of the Police with the rank of non-commissioned officers, and police agents for outstanding service and exemplary conduct.
• Medal is awarded in three classes: Bronze(Hoja de Laurel en Bronce) - for 15 years of service, Silver(Hoja de Laurel en Plata) - for 20 years of service, and Gold(Hoja de Laurel en Oro) - for 25 years.
