BRA086 Cruz de Bravura
- Decoration instituted by Decree No. 7.454 of 10 April 1945.
- Decoration awarded to Brazilian Air Force personnel who have displayed exceptional acts of bravery in the campaign.
- Additional acts of bravery are rewarded by adding bronze palm clasp on the ribbon.
- Decoration has been awarded to only five recipients, all of them pilots of the 1st Fighter Aviation Group, who lost their lives in combat in Italy, during World War II: John Richardson Cordeiro e Silva, Frederico Gustavo Dos Santos, João Maurício Campos de Medeiros, Aurélio Vieira Sampaio and Luiz Lopes Dornelles.
