Cross awarded to Italian Volunteers in Spain, who fought in "Frecce Azzurre" brigade.
Cross is two-piece construction, bronze and enamels, obverse illustrating a shield with a Falange surrounded by the inscription "AGREDIR PARA VENCER" overlaying an Italian Fasces, placed at the junction of the cross, reverse inscribed "FRECCE AZZURRE" across the centre.
