IRL019 Garda Siochana Golden Jubilee Medal

Medal instituted in 1972 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the forces founding.
Medal awarded to anyone serving in the police that year.
Obverse - The entwined GS of the Garda Siochana crest surrounded by a pentagon of 10 stars; Reverse - a pillar of justice with a scroll going through and around it with the words “Jubaile Orga 1922-1972 (Golden Jubilee 1922-1972).
