Friedrich Cross
GAN026 Friedrich-Kreuz
- Decoration was instituted on 12 December 1914 by Duke Friedrich II.
- Decoration was awarded to soldiers of Anhalt for services during World War I.
- Decoration was awarded in two classes. The I Class Cross is an unofficial award. It is suspected that an extension of the Friedrich Cross was planned, but this was no longer officially realized due to the end of the World War I and the subsequent abdication of Duke Friedrich II.
- Decoration was awarded to combatants (green ribbon with red side stripes) and non-combatants (green ribbon has white side stripes).
