President's Inauguration Medal

LKA024 ජනාධිපති ධූරප්‍රාප්ත පදක්කම

Medal was instituted in 1978 to commemorate the inauguration of the first executive president of Sri Lanka, J. R. Jayewardene.
Medal is awarded to all ranks of the regular and volunteer servicepersons of the Sri Lanka Army who were in service on the 04 February 1978, and recommended by the Commander of the Army, Navy or Air Force to receive the award.
