Order of a Million Elephants and White Parasol

LAO001 Itsariyaphon Lan Sang Hom Khao

Order is instituted by King Sisavang Vong on 1 May 1909. The order modified on 20 November 1927 to four classes and expanded on 20 November 1950 with a superior class (Grand Cordon with Collar - conferred on Heads of State) and five ordinary classes.
Order is awarded for civil and military merit in the development of the Kingdom and for devotion to the Kingdom.
