Medal was awarded to persons who assisted the government, military or police in strengthening the borders and returning the areas of Siam occupied by France and Great Britain.
Medal was awarded in two classes: Medal with red and white ribbon for Indochina Wars; Medal with green and red ribbon for Pacific War.
