Order of Luthuli

Order instituted on 30 November 2003.
Order awarded for contributions to South Africa in the struggle for democracy, building democracy and human rights, nation-building, justice and peace and conflict resolution.
Order have three classes: Gold - for exceptional contributions, Silver - for excellent contributions, Bronze - for outstanding contributions.
