Order awarded to clergymen, military leaders, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and other persons who have shown courage in defending the Fatherland, who have contributed to the development of interaction between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Army, and who provide spiritual and moral support to the military.
Order awarded in three classes.
