Civil Order of Environmental Merit

ESP035 Orden Civil del Mérito Medioambiental

Order was instituted on 29 June 2009.
Order is awarded to persons and organizations for eminent services or out-standing actions, for nature conservation, natural heritage and biodiversity preservation, the fight against climate change, environmental quality, the defense and promotion of the marine water and continental resources sustainability and, in general, initiatives on environmental protection.
Order is awarded in six classes: Grand Cross, Grand Commander, Commander, Officer, Knight, and Bronze Medal.
