Medal for Contribution to National Security

KAZ033 «Ұлттық қауіпсіздікке қосқан үлесі үшін» медалі

Medal was instituted on 27 May 2002. By Decree No. 377 of 14 September 2012, changes were made to the description of the medal.
Medal is awarded to military personnel of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for: skillful organization of operational and service activities to ensure the security of individuals and society, protect the constitutional order, state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the economic, scientific, technical, and defense potential of the state; successful organization, conduct, and implementation (including investigative) of intelligence, counterintelligence, and combat operations to protect the national security interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan; reliable provision of government communications; professional execution of complex specialized technical measures; skillful training and retraining of highly qualified personnel for the national security agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan; achievements in fundamental and applied scientific research on national security issues; special personal contribution to the resolution of NSC tasks in units supporting the operational and service activities of the national security agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
