Order of the Renaissance

Order was instituted by Hussein bin Ali, King of the Hejaz in 1917, and was modified by King Abdullah I bin Al-Hussein in 1925.
Order is awarded for the highest civil or military services to the Kingdom of Jordan.
Order is awarded in six classes: Special Grand Cordon, Grand Cordon, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knigth.
Hussein bin Ali, King of the Hejaz - was an Arab leader from the Banu Hashim clan.
