Officers' Service Cross for 25 years
GOL017 Dienstauszeichnungskreuz für 25 Jahre der Offiziere
- Decoration was instituted by Grand Duke Friedrich August on 24 December 1838.
- Decoration was awarded to officers who have served the fatherland faithfully for at least 25 years. Non-combatants and military officials could receive the cross if they had fought at least one campaign.
- Decoration was awarded in two classes: gold for officers, and silver for non-commissioned officers.
