Officers' Service Cross for 25 years

GOL017 Dienstauszeichnungskreuz für 25 Jahre der Offiziere

Decoration was instituted by Grand Duke Friedrich August on 24 December 1838.
Decoration was awarded to officers who have served the fatherland faithfully for at least 25 years. Non-combatants and military officials could receive the cross if they had fought at least one campaign.
Decoration was awarded in two classes: gold for officers, and silver for non-commissioned officers.
