Order of Merit

HRVS03   Red Za Zasluge

• Order was instituted on 10 April 1942.
• Order was awarded to Croatian and foreign citizens for merits not related to participation in military operations.
• Order was awarded in four classes.
• The insignia is a four-pointed cross with rectangular rays, covered with red enamel, into which a silver Ustasha emblem was inscribed, framed by a decorative pattern. For persons of the Muslim faith, the shape of the order was modified into a six-pointed star with rounded beams.
